Goal

Provide an overview of the opportunities interactive 3D technology give us for developing virtual environments, explain the general concept of the "scene graph" and introduce the jMonkeyEngine API.

Before next week you should ensure that you have jMonkeyEngine installed, compile and run the example code, and become familiar with how the example code works by experimenting a little with it.
